Hi everybody

When working in graphical mode, I'd like to put text wherever I want on the screen, and not to be bound by the preset raster of the LOCATE statement. Is there a quick way of doing that, or should I GET every character separately and then PUT it where I want. That does seem a bit time- and work-consuming...

Thanks in advance,

David

The best way on a graphic screen to avoid the locate 'locations' is to create a font yourself and use that for printing text.

I did an example of an install progrom called instald6 (or 5) that can still be found around and has some examples of fonts in Quick Basic 4.5
