When I create text on a path, the text follows UNDER the path. I want it to follow ON TOP of the path. What settings do I need to change to achieve this?

Depending on the font, the BASELINE may be set at a different place on the characters. Simply raise the baseline (same as in Photoshop, but now under TEXT palette) or lower the baseline so that it changes that attribute for the text.

Do this before you put any changes to the layer in a range selector.

(IT COULD BE that you have your position modified in the range selector, which is changing its relationship to the path)
