Can anyone help?

A client has requested text on a curve but it is looking wobbly and the spacing doesn't look too polished. Is there a way to format individual letters to make it look smarter?

Also- once the text is on the curve - is there a way to still be able to edit the curve as the hanles disappear.

If anyone has any tip they would be much apprecitated :)

As far as the handles disappearing, try selecting the text path with the direct select tool, they should appear...

As to the text wobbling, it sounds like you're trying to use a path that's too wobbly and has short tight curves relative to the text size. You can always outline the text and make an artbrush out of it, then apply that to the path, and the text will follow the path like a snake.
