I can't get typed text to show. I think a free font may have done something. And no, it's not white on white, I'm not on the wrong layer or the layer isn't showing. I can even open a brand new window, have the checkered transparent background, have the text in black and a large font (with a large cursor, so I know it's actually large). I will type something and the text will show up in the layers window (the name of the layer, that is), but the text is never visible in either the main document or the layers windows or anything. I've tried to remove the fonts that may be causing this, I've run WinDoctor, I've restarted several times after running WinDoctor and changing the font in PShop and Imageready to a safe font, but nothing ever fixes it. I've tried googling for this problem and haven't found any help. Does anyone have any suggestions whatsoever on how to fix this?
