Hi
I don't ever get an answer on this board but i thought i would try anyway.

I am having a problem with the way text displays in the projector.
I only want to use the font Arial, so i have embedded the font in director and made sure i chose that font with the * for all the text, but it displays poorly in small sizes.
Anything less than 12pts looks very amateurish.

Is there any other way of creating nice crisp text at smallish sizes.

The only way i have found that gives nice results is by creating the text in photoshop or fireworks and then importing the text that way.

Is this what the rest of you do to create clean text or is it a very flawed way of doing things.
Also this text does not need to be dynamic or editable as it is just for a presentation on cd.

Please try and offer any advise on this as it is driving me up the wall.

Many thanks

In the properties panel you have the option to prerender text for the ink you are using - either "copy" or "other". There is also an option to "save as bitmap" which will work for you since you don't need the text to be dynamic. This will give you smooth antialiased text.
