hey guys i'm using some "times new roman" text as a button..but when you open the movie it is kinda hard to get the button to work due to the thin text..you have to get the mouse directly over the thin lines of the text for it to work..what do i need to do to the button to make it easier use?..i want to keep the text..but do not want it to be such a pain for the user..and i don't want some block or circle as the button..

Edit your button. In the HIT frame insert a blank keyframe and then draw a rectangle/circle to the size required as a hit area. That's it!

When you come out of the button this hit area will show as a bluish area, but it WON'T show when the movie is played.
