You probably have your Text>Alignment set to Force Justify. Set Text>Aligment to Align Left and you should be all set. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
What does the tool bar indicate under the paragraph options when you type the text? You must have some sort of rogue styles in your doc. Truly weird. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
The line option is set at break but still it won't. The paragraph option is Body Text, and when I changed it to No style, there was no change.
I also tried copying another text box from another part of the publication that was working fine. When I stayed in the lines that were already there, the text moved along just fine. When I tried to start a new line at the beginning of the text box, I had the same old problem of all the letters squeezing into one line.
Truly weird. How about creating a new doc and starting fresh? I suspect that you may have some low level corruption in that doc and trying to salavage it may only make it unusable in the future.
Anyway, I am completely stumped. maybe someone else here has seen this problem. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
