text isn't placed on right place on the second page of template

Dear members
I have a template that is created on one page. On page one there is a header on top, a colophon on the left, and the left over space is used to place a simple text [start your letter here] and below there is a automatic created signature.

If the user starts to type text the signature will shift down of course. This will happen correctly as long as it is on page one.

As soon as the signature hits a new page it is still on the same position (measured from the left), it should be closer to left on page 2. For page 2 I created another starting point for text but it is still 10cm from the left instead of the set 3 cm.
On page two I do not use a colofon and there is more space to place text.
The signature, and ofcourse all the other typed text should align closer to left but it doesn't.

I need some help with this

I guess this is a Word template? I also guess that a colophon is some sort of outline description of contents inserted on the front page, left side?
