text input setFocus problem

Wow, I definitely forgot a lot when I stopped coding for two years....

This is my last problem, and then my remoting program will be completed. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped out so far... I love this forum (if you can't tell).

I have a login clip with the usual two text inputs..username and password. I am trying to setFocus to the username field, but SetFocus doesnt' work. If I type, it types in the field, but I cannot backspace and there is no cursor or anything to show that the field has focus. Is this simple to fix and I just can't seem to find the correct code in the help files, or is it more difficult than I'm thinking it is?

My bad.. wish I could delete this post... for some reason it doesn't work when I test run the program, but when I publish as an exe it works perfect.. wish I had done this an hour ago...
