I have a text file as below, with over 120,000 records that my client would like to persuse with various search criteria from within Access.

would appreciate views and guides on this. Each record houses address details, one copy, booking details could be numerous and brochure details again numerous. Fields seperated by "," and segmented by "þ" between address, booking, and brochure. Bearing in mind that booking and brochure could have many instances which would be the best way to accomplish this task???

Hi

Because you haev mixture of 'record types' in one file, I would say, import the text into a single column table, then write code to parse the resulting table to split out the data you want
