Text-heavy, Book-like Reports

I have a db that stores large blocks of text as answers to questions posed to users. I have about 30 fields with this type of format. I would like a report that prints out the text of the question and then the resulting answer. My problem is that i want this text to go 'down' then page and not left to right as so many Access reports do. Can this be done? Do I have to turn to Word/Automation to get it done?
Has anyone else become frustrated with this left to right paradigm in Access reports?
 
I don't exactly understand what the issue is with left to right but have you looked into columns? I may be way off as to what you are looking for but you can set columns to run Down then Across.
You set the Column property by opening the report in design view and then go to File.....Page Setup and look for the Columns tab.
If that's not it, try posting a sample of what you need.

This message board is a good example of what I mean by left to right and top down. You have a name and then below it you have the user's post. Let's say that I had a table that had answers to one question(each record) from 20 people(one per field). How could I get it so that each person's answer (each field) went below the other persons answer and the two were separated by the person's name? If you take this table and load it into an Access report wizard you get one row of ouput that is 20 pages wide and one page long. I would like an output that is one page wide and 20 pages long.
 
I think you have a problem with the datasheet view, which has a row structure for each record.
You need to design a single sheet form, or report that consists of the text box that holds the field Question, then one that holds Answer immediately below, and allow the (I guess memo) boxes that hold the text to be sizeable, to expand to fit the amount of text in each respective box.
