Text Formatting In Alert & Confirm??? 1

Can the text message in an alert box & a confirm box be formatted? For e.g. displaying the message bold or italic or of different colors.

No, I think all you can do is force a new line in an alert using /n or was it \n.

If you want full html in an alert type box then its best to use a modal or modeless dialog box.

you could always just open another custom size window with not menubars and have it display your formated stuff in there, other wise the alert("&quot fucntion doesn't format.
