Hi,

I have a really simple question.... I have text on my site that I am getting ready to deploy and I have set the font to be gill sans Mt 10 point and it displays fine in the preview window contained within Frontpage 2003 which i am using to create the site.....

When I test deployed it up on the net.......

The font displayed as times new roman.... 10 point.

The text I am deploying is sitting inside a layer which is on a graphic which is loaded as a background.

regards

Murray

Hello there...
When using fonts in web pages one needs to make sure that 1. the font is supported by most major browsers (esp. the one you are using)
2. the font is installed on the viewer's machine
Otherwise the browser will display one of it's default fonts...
One way to avoid this is to use Adobe Photoshop (or another graphics program) to create pictures with the text displayed in your choice of fonts...
Now this leads to other problems- like the size of the image and/or the extra steps required to change the actual text so be warey of this...
hth~
