Text Format and Java Application

Hi,

I have one report which runs everyday. The same report creates instances with different format like PDF, EXCEL, and TEXT etc. I am using Crystal report10.5 and Crystal Enterprise 10.5. An application runs this report. The application has written in Java. Everything is fine. I have no issue with PDF or Excel. But I have issue with Text format. The data seem to have been shortened. I know how to change the number of character per inch using Crystal Report software and how set same thing in Crystal Enterprise when I run report manually. But I am not sure whether I can set the number of character per inch in application or not. Any one has any clue?
