I have a report that is published in a text format. I am having a problem getting all of my information. The text file will only collect 82-83 characters per line. Is there a way to get Crystal Reports to allow more characters per line?

Use landscape orientation, or if you need more, use a 11x14 on up to a HP Designjet 3500 CP which would accomodate a several thousand.

But it may even be simpler, you didn't state which type of text export you were choosing.

And is this report to be viewed and exported, or only exported?

If only exported, then the first option should solve this.

I've had the same problem exporting to text.

Crystal issued a hotfix for CR9 where you specify the characters per inch for a non paginated text file.

What version CR are you using? Reebo
