text file viewer class or activex

Hello Experts!

Does anyone has any information on a vfp class or activex that I can use to view a large textfile? I know modify file or richtextbox can handle the job but what I need is a viewer that can split the text viewer screen.

Helo Dennis,

This might be overkill, but take a look at TX Text Control (

http://www.textcontrol.com).

It's not free, and it has quite a high overhead, but it's very capable.

I might be tempted to import it into a table and browse it - or stick it in a grid... no overhead (after the file is read).
