Hi - I'm new to this forum so here goes.
On Visual Studio 2005, using VB, for a large windows program with many users and Crystal Reports.
The version is Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2005.
I believe that the user is on Windows XP as that is the current company standard.
It is a very simple report that displays Text column data from an MS SQL DB. All of the other users can see the data in the Text field for the specific data, except one.
We know that he is getting the correct join because the accompanying metadata is being displayed.
There are other reports that display the same data and in each case this one specific user cannot see the Text.
I suspect that there is a specific dll or other Crystal file that is missing from this user's computer OR perhaps something in the way his computer is set up is interfering with these types of data fields.
I am currently working on deploying a Visual Sudio 2008 web version of the program to see if this problem continues. I should know in a few days...
Any suggestions at this point would be extremely helpful, thanks.
