I've seen it done a number of times in flash. But I'm still learning. I just got flash less then a week ago. I've made a few but I just haven't figured it out yet. I bought a book but it doesn't say anything about fade. I was wondering if some one could help me. I just want some words and maybe a few pics to fade. The ones that I made sofar are on my homepage.

If some one could help You would be greatly thanked.

Thanks.....Melocco...

to do a fade in/out you can change the Alpha transparency

hi

>> On the main stage write your text in Frame 1.
>> Select it and press F8 to convert to a Graphic.
>> Select Frame 10 on the main timeline (or however long you want the tween to last).
>> Right-click and select 'Insert Keyframe'
>> Select the first frame of your text on the main timeline. Right-click and select 'Create Motion Tween'
>> On the stage, select the new instance (Frame10) and press Ctrl+I.
>> Select the 'Color Effect' tab and set the Alpha to '0'

Thats it! This applies to anything, text or pictures.

Hope it helps
