Text Export

Hi All,

I have a report that is used to produce a text file in a rigid format. This is done by having one formula grouped by account and then formatting the individual components in the formula. I had it so that the file exported the text in the format required ie one line per account
eg
yyy xxxxx xxxxx rrrrrrrr
qqq xxxxx xxxxx rrrrrrrr

but i had to reinstall crystal to my PC and now when i run the report it exports as

yyy xxxx xxxxxx
rrrrrrrrr
qqq xxxxx xxxxxx
rrrrrrrrr

which is not what i require. Its the same report as was previously created, but the formatting has changed. Any idea how i can get it to the correct one line per account format

It sounds like there was a version change or you need to apply the service pack:

Unfortunately Crystal no longer supports CR 8, perhaps someone has the old service pack and will share.

I have CR10 as well, and the same has occured i that as well, any ideas?

The default printer can cause problems like this. Also check the characters per inch setting when you export.
