I'm trying to change text so that it will look something like this:

testtextul8.jpg

I did this letter by letter, but what I'm really looking for is something I could apply to any text, sort of like what the "Shift and drag a corner handle" action does now, but I don't want the "3D" type effect where the first letter in the text appears much "farther away." I want each letter to have its original width, but increasingly greater heights.

Is there any way to do this other than manipulating each individual letter separately?

On the button bar at the left hand side about two buttons down you will find the deform button. Click on it and select your text. Hold down the ctrl key while you click on one of the little handles (small box) on the corner and drag. If you don't use ctrl it will keep it square. Also try shift ctrl.

Aha, is this the same thing as "Mesh Warp Tool?" It seems to be doing what I need at first glance. Thanks!

No Mesh Warp Tool is different but if it does what you want... With Mesh you could probably make your text 'bulge' but deform will change it evenly. (Not making myself very clear but if you try it out you will see what I mean.)

Hmm, I guess it doesn't matter as much now, but I'm still not finding Deform anywhere. Is it called by that name in Paint Shop Pro X?
