Hey,

I'm looking for a way to display the column names of a table at an angle. I found the command "writing-mode: tb-rl;" for a CSS which puts text in at 90 degree angle but it's at an angle that people aren't used to viewing (opposite). Is there a way to specify the angle of the text (180* or 45*) for an Excel looking table?

Not that I've seen. Best bet is to make small graphic images of the text you want and place them in the appropriate table cells.

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!

What about:
Code:
...
<th>
 C<br>O<br>L<br>U<br>M<br>N<br> <br>N<br>A<br>M<br>E<br>
</th>
...
to write the column name vertically?
Or do the same thing but vary the number of spaces in front of each character to have the text at more of a 45 degree angle.
