I have a problem with a powerbook running 10.2 that has some text in certain fields being displayed very strangely. In Outlook for example - yep running through classic - the to fields and the cc field are perfectly normal but the subject field will only display half (and sometimes nothing at all) of the last letter typed. For example the letter m will look like an n but if you then press space (or any other charachter) it will appear as it should m. This is also appearing in other fields outside of outlook...

anyone seen this before or have any suggestions???

Nope, the font is exactly as it should be - it looks identical to the powerbook next to it but just does not display properly in certain fields

So it is not just that the fields are too narrow to take the text? Learn something new every day.

Nah - the subject field for example is pretty long right but if you type in the word Anagram the m at the end will not look like an m until you press space after it. and sometimes entire words can have been typed but nothing appears on the screen - it is there you just need to hit space a few times and the word will appear. it is as if there is some kind of mask hiding part of the field....
