I am trying to write some text on a curve. I have created an elipse but when I try and put the text on it it will only create it on the outter edge of the elipse. How can I manipulate it so the the text is on the inside of the elipse?

I hope I have explained this correctly!

Cheers

Make sure the text entry box is open, and the text inside is selected. Go up to the toolbar, and all the way to the right, there should be a property called Offset. Set that to a negative value like -20 to move the text into the curve. Play around with the negative values, until you are happy with where the text is.

Then just click o.k, in the Text entry box.

I don't know if this makes any difference, which I dare say it will! I am using PSP8.

I couldn't see the 'Offset' property on my toolbar but I may have messed around with my toolbar when I first set it up. However I couldn't find anything about 'Offset' in the menus either.

hmm, not sure. But Look at the top tool bar for any arrows pointing to the right, it might be hidden. If you can find a drop down that says "Line Style" it should be to the right of that one after a couple more tools. If there's a little black arrow next to Line Style click it to expand the tool bar.

Right...I have managed to get the text on the inside of the circle/line by changing the "Leading" figure to -943 (ther or there abouts!).

Now, as you can see from the photo below, the text is up[side down and back to front. Any ideas how can I change this so that is reading the right way up and from left to right?

Cheers
