Hi I'm a fairly expirenced user of corel but I've hit a problem.
When I create a new text box, by selecting the tool and single clicking on the workspace, I start typing but as soon as I press space bar the text edditing mode stops and the box is selected?? Meaning I have to stop and reslect the box to continue typing?
I can't find any options that would make it do this? Any ideas?

That's because you don't create a text box by selecting the text tool and single clicking the workspace. That's creating Artistic Text, not Paragraph text aka a text box. If you want a "text box", which is totally different than Artistic Text, you have to select the Text tool and then draw a box by holding down the left mouse button and creating a box. Then you can click inside the box with the text tool and start typing.

It would also help if you mentioned what version of Draw you're working in.
