Text box will not resize

Occasionally when attempting to increase the length of a text box in Pagemaker 6.5 or 7.0 the program will refuse to increase the size of the text box by exactly one line. A dotted line appears at the first line it will resize to. I do not believe this is an orphaning issue, but it's becoming a little annoying.

Check the paragraph style - you may have widow/orphan control active or a link to the next style which starts on a new page.
