text box displays odd value 1

When I enter a value in a textbox such as "129" the value displayed on the form, after I tab to a new field, changes to "1.29E+02". The value recorded in my table is "129". Why is my form displaying this odd value? Howcan i make it display the entered value?

Try changing the format of the control (it might be "Scientific") to "Fixed", "Standard"...
