TEXT AREA and FONT control 2

Good day everyone.

I have a customer who is extremely anal retentive. On a project I am currently working on for this customer I have a form that contains text feilds for Name, address, etc. I also have a text area for comments. On all the single line text areas for name and the like the font inside the text area is arial but on the multi-line text area for the comments the font is coming out times. My customer does not like this.

My question is -- can I control what font appears in a text feild a user is typing into?

I've looked everywhere and can not find an information about changing the font INSIDE the text area.

Please help me before this AR arse drives me crazy!!

For IE you can add a style to the textarea:

<textarea style=&quot;font-family: arial&quot; ......

or put the style in a style-sheet:

.taStyle
{
font-family: arial;
}


<textarea class=&quot;taStyle&quot; ....

I found out to make it also work in Netscape !!

Add the same style to the <form> tag and it will also work in NN4 (I can't test in NN6 here)
Strange but this style in the <form> tag doesn't effect IE, so you have to code both:

<form style=&quot;font-family: arial&quot; ......
<textarea style=&quot;font-family: arial&quot; ......

or

<form class=&quot;taStyle&quot; ....
<textarea class=&quot;taStyle&quot; ....
