Does anyone know how to test channels on a PRI trunk.
I want to be able to test each timeslot on a PRI , but dont have a maint set on site.

On other system I have worked on you can busy out timeslots and thus force a call over the only IDLE timeslot.

Im not sure the Meridian can do it this way?

any help much appreciated.
Thanks.

YES you can
Either you do it from the ATT console choosing the the channel with the Barg In key, or you can disable all channels in LD60 and then enable just the channel you wish to test.

The Attendant console is my choice, but you can also use a digital set with CLS MTA

SPRE 91 to activate maintenance mode

LD#36##

TRK#L#U## will draw dial tone

then dial a number

After you have dialed at least one number, a third # after the TRK command to draw dial tone will dial that number again
