The cabinet has the CYCLON 10V Battery. Is there a good way to test the battery, if so what might be the procedure? Does the system need to be powered down when replacing? Thanks!

If the battery is 4-5 years old, and leaking, time to repalce it. If you use "google" and search the internet, I have found those cyclon cells cheap, and you can rebuild the battery pack. the switch does not need to be powered down to replace the pack.
