Does anyone know of any really good testing-plan resources on the net? We're trying to get a testing plan happening, and I'm curious to see what others use.
We are actually getting a bunch of grade sixers to come in.
The plan is to give them a machine direct them to the app's first page and let em go. Absolutely no help from any of us. Basically we are testing our user interface.
Is it intuitive?
Is it simple?
Is it self explanitory?
That sort of thing. Hoping the kids can give us some good feedback on how to make the UI better. That'l do donkey, that'l do

Quite serious actually. It's my bosses idea. Thing is that our client won't be using the site as much as the general public. It's a central reservation system. That'l do donkey, that'l do

The more I think about the testing though the more I like it. I mean if anyone could find bugs, it's a bunch of kids. I just don't know how he is planning to keep them focused for more than 3 minutes. If I was a kid I would way rather be playing a game or something. That'l do donkey, that'l do

I'm just wondering if they'll understand what a "central reservation system" is, so the UI can be tested effectively.
Heh...too funny though...I'm sure your boss is quite the visionary (that, plus giving lollipops to kids is alot cheaper than paying a seasoned team of experienced software testers)
