Hi,

We are testing a printing issue with a specific Printer Driver and Metaframe 1.8 for Terminal Server on NT and Version 6.0.0.x ICA client.

We have setup the server fine, and entered the server serial number which should have a 5 user pack with it. However when we connect via the client, we get a licesing error and the client will not connect. I see you can enter a serial numebr within the ICA client, but I do not know where to find this number.

I am much more familar with XP and up where you would enter a server licesne and connection packs to the server to allow clients to conenct. Can someone please explain what I need to do to get a OCA client at version 6.0 to connect to a Metaframe 1.8 server?

Cheers,

Matt

It's been a while since I built an MF 1.8 server, and although you entered the license number did you activate through the Citrix website, since every re-install requires a new registration.

Using metaframe Administration (MFADMIN.EXE) and the License Manager that come with 1.8 you should be able to tell whether you are licensed or not. It may even be TS licenses causing the problem.

Cheers
Scott
