Hi Guys;I using a Epox EP-8RDA3+ Socket A motherboard,2gig ram,X800 ATI video, bios updated, ect.all good,If I put a 3200+ Athlon XP Cpu in and it won't even post, does this mean the CPU is junk?. Works with 2600+ 2800+ 3000+ XP CPU's.Is this the only way to test a CPU? I know dumb question, but I have this Athlon 3200+ XP no bent pins, looks ok,but no post at all, this means Dead right? no other hopes at all,or other tests I could do?,to verify the cpu is dead? Thanks for any input.

XP3.2+ has to have the FSB set to 200 (effectively 400) will be on 166 ATM.
But to be honest it should boot on the lower FSB settings, that would be underclocking. XP3.2+ is effectively an XP2500+ when set to 166FSB.
The XP3200+ was a very hot CPU and could be damaged very easily. It needed a decent heatsink/fan to keep the temp down below 60C (bit flakey beyond 65C)
It sounds as so this CPU is dead...
