Does anyone know of a tester(butt set, etc) that would allow our team to test digital voice ports off a AT&T Definity PBX?

There are Butt sets to test ISDN, but not digital ports. The easiest way is to get a modular adapter for the type of terminator you are using (110, 66, Bixs, etc). Then plug phone in to see if it works.

Good Luck!!

If you have terminal access to the PBX, and your just looking for free ports to jumper. Take a look at netcon1 and jagoan response in thread690-452947.

I've tried making one up myself and just ended up cutting off the R45 plug and jumpering the wires directly onto the frame. Just make sure you don't knock out the ports by cross wireing.

If not, then executone has the best idea in getting an adapter for the phone/frame.

lever.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will take them to heart.
