Hello,

I am working on my datawindow object design and wondering if I can actually run my datawindow object by itself from the datawindow painter to test its functionality.

I want to make sure that my datawindow can retrieve/insert/update a row. But I do not want put it into application to test.

Is it possible?

Thank you.
Stan.

You can preview and retrieve in the painter (you will be prompted for arguments if the DWO requires them). You won't be able to update the data however. You can also insert a row but if you use drop down datawindows they won't be populated with values.

Thank you!

I kind of know of this option.

What I was really looking for is to do the update. So it seems like an impossible thing to do from the painter.

Ok, will test run it from an app.

Regards,
Stan.
