Is there a way to test a BCCIII card for a 200EL cabinet as it is coming into service or do you just wait for at 22 minutes and pray?

We had one of those go weird on us so the VAR took it back and did something to it.

Yeah, just slap 'er in and fire it up I'd think is about you only reasonable option.

if the BCC3 is in a peripheral cabinet (not a 200EL control cabinet, but a peripheral cabinet on a 200EL/200ICP/3300MXe) then you can plug a serial cable into the printer port of that cabinet (38400 - 8-n-1) and at least watch it boot and upgrade - it will upgrade and reboot 3 or 4 times before it is up. this will tell you what is happening and let you know immediately when an upgrade has failed.
