Does anyone know how I can confirm the circuit and bandwidth my carrier has provided. I kind of remember a formula you could use based on ping response and packet size. Any help would be great.

ah most carriers provide an internal FTP server with various file sizes on it...
just saying, its probably easier...

We must go always forward, not backward
always up, not down and always twirling twirling towards infinity.

If you're talking about a WAN connection between two points, then use iperf on both ends. If you're talking about the internet, speedtest.net :)

Check out iperf. Open source app I've used a few times. Seems to be pretty accurate.
