Can this be done? I purchased this from a guy and was unable to test it. I don't have access to the supported MB or RAM yet, but I wanted to see if it was burned out! Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

I'm currently running a AMD 2700 XP processor with 133 Mhz RAM in the Asus A7V333 M. board.

The VIA Apollo KT333 VIA chipset Supporting DDR200/266/333 memory and a complete range of 200/266/333MHz Front Side Bus AMD Athlon™ XP and AMD Duron™ processors.

So the XP3.2+ CPU at 400fsb is unsupported sorry.

I did have a look to see supported CPU's but couldn't find a list for this motherboard on the Asus website
I'm guessing that as long as Asus supports it with a bios flash the XP3.0+ will be the fastest for this board.

You might be able to take the CPU down to your local electronics shop and see if they will test it.
