Test the Mapping & Emal Task

Hi all,

1.Once we complete the mapping how can we test the map.
2.If our session completes succesfully I have to send a
mail to particular group.Suppose if the session rejects some
records then I have to send a mail along with rejected records file in attachments.

How can I do this? Please give step by step process
