I just failed 70-290 with a score of 568. Does anyone know if each question is worth the same amount of points and based on this score out of 44 questions, did I get only 25 questions right? I thought I passed this one. What's crazy is on my score sheet, it shows me more toward strong on all topics but one, and that one is just under the 50% mark. Oh well, thank God for the 2nd shot free program right now :)

The score for each questions is based on the number of questions and the type of questions. Some answers are counted as more than one question. The ones that are labeled "Each answer resepents an entire solution" (or something to that effect) each answer counted as a seperate answer.

ryanropp,

The 70-290 exam is very difficult, and failing it once is not something to be ashamed of. From your score, it sounds like you got 56.8% of the answers correct, and out of 44 questions, that's 25 (more or less).

At least you know the areas that you're weak on, but don't expect to see the same questions on your next attempt. There is a fairly large pool of questions for this exam.

Good luck on your next attempt!

This is true. There are something like 300 questions in the pool for each test.
