This is probably a very basic question, but I'm having difficulty understanding how to run a test migration from NT -> Windows 2003. I thought I could take the BDC, take it offline - maybe change the domain name and ip address and at least run the migration on one machine with others connecting for authentication, etc. Apparently this is not the case. Do I need to set up a PDC with a separate domain name right from the start? I don't really see a way to import user's id's unless I need to recreate those as well - unless ClonePrincipal can help (?) Any suggestions or articles would be greatly appreciated as I seem to be struggling. There are many articles outling the plans - but not a lot of information on the actual how to.

Many thanks,
/R
