i need a software or a way to test a hard drive to see is this ok or not.
any one can help me

Most hard drive manufacturers have disk diagnostic software on their website that you can download.

Or try running MHDD on the drive.

Best bet is to download and burn The Ultimate Boot CD and then boot from it. It has all the major brand's diagnostic utilities on it + lots of other goodies. One stop shopping.

jason213123 As GOAOZ already mentioned each of the hard drive manufactures has FREE downloadable hard drive utilities for exactly this purpose. In fact, most manufacturers insist these tools are used before they will accept an RMA (faulty return)
Which ever make it is? Seagate, Hitachi, Western Digital, Maxtor, Samsumg etc..go to their site.

thanks for your help i have tested the hdd guru and i have seen some bad clusters i will return the harddrive to the shop
