I have a "Text File (Source)" object in my DTS. In its Connection Properties dialog box I have specified the source file. Is there a way, when the DTS Package is executed, that I can prompt the operator to enter/browse to the file? Failing that, I would like it to use a DTS Variable, if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. Use the dynamic properties task to dynamicly change the file location. It won't prompt, but you can have it query from table or use basic logic to select which file based on the SQL Server.

For the prompt you can use an ActiveX task and Assign the input value to a global variable then sent the source using the Dynamic Properties Task as Denny previously said.
