Hi everybody,

I have do lot research on the forum but i found nothing to help me.

That the Issue

I have voicemail pro program with this menu

MENU
1
2 ----- Menu ?? (TEST DIGET) --- TRANSFERT 2$KEY
3 Timout ----- Transfert ext 235
..
So for me everything are fine and work, if someone choose to compose a extension that transfer or he just compose 2 and transfer at the extension 235.

But the client want to have a invalid menu, cause if someone compose extension 299, and nobody on the system have this extension the system disconnect the call.

I have try to put the menu like that :

MENU
1
2 ---- TEST VARIABLE
3 $KEY
Ext
Group
No match ---- GENERIC (INVALID MESSAGE GO TO MENU)
Timeout ---- Somebody press only 2 (transfert to 235)

And nothing work good, i don't know what the problem, but if somebody have already do this thing, i need help for that.

Thank You

humm i found a solution to fix the problem. Tell me if was good

I change the shortcode ? to voicemail node and Shortcode ? on voicemail pro
On the short code i put a generic text entry unvalid and GOTO AA

Give this a shot, this is typically how I do it. However, I would put a test/increment counter before the TRY AGAIN so they would only have so may tries to do it, and on counter match, transfer to a receptionist or something...

I'm not sure to understand, what is your $CP0 ?

$CP0 is a memory location to store the value and then it compares the value against valid numbers, very slick

you could also make a system shortcode
2xx
dial extension
number of Reception or other target of choice

that way any call not ending up in a User or Group will end up at Reception but that is not always wanted so the solution from AAcon is what you wanted to do

Give a tech a solution and he will be back tomorrow to ask you the next question, teach a tech how to read the manual and he will be able to solve the problems for a life time.
