I attempted a restore from a differential backup to a test database and aborted it when I realized that I was restoring File 1 and not the latest version of the data. That may have corrupted something because, when I try to delete the database through Enterprise manager, it says that the database is not in the catalog. Also in the databases it is displayed as S030_B(Loading)

How can I just delete this test database so I can start from scratch?

you can try running sp_resetstatus [ @dbname = ] 'database'

I ran that command and it told me that the database does not exist.

Server: Msg 15010, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_resetstatus, Line 63
The database 'S030_B' does not exist. Use sp_helpdb to show available databases.

hit F5 to refresh you EM view. Does the database still show up?
