The test-all command was used on our test box and Ultra 5, and it seems to be stuck in a loop displaying 'bus fault'. How do we get out of this? Stop A and Control C have no effect. The OS is Solaris 7

Glad it is the test box. Any reson for this? After powering down and back on all was fine. This was done once before we just wanted to see if there was a better way to stop it, and a possible cause.
Thx tuka

It could be the prom version . I think the latest stand alone flash PROM update is 106121-16.

Normally if I want to run the POST diags I set the diag-level to max and the diag-switch to true.
When the diag switch is set to true the system will try to boot from the net when the POST is finished. You can break out of this by issung the break sequence.

I have seen this problem in the past and just don't run the test-all command. You can run sunvts online to shake out the system once it is booted and use the POST diags to ascertain the system is ready to boot.
