Just a couple of questions on some of the questions that may be on the 294 cert exam...

IBM Pre-assessment

1. An application puts a message to a remote queue. The queue at the ultimate destination is full. Where will MQ attempt to put the message after the queue full has been detected.....

Are there not several possibilities depending on how you define the remote queue ie it could go to the DLQ or it could be left on the TX queue to try again ??? best answer would depend on what you want would it not ?



2. Which communications protocols can be used with MQ for iSeries....

My guess would be TCP and SNADS but one of the manuals states LU 6.2 and TCP ?? and another manual states SNA and TCP.....?

Still shaking my head

1) NO. The answer would ALWAYS be, msg would be put the local DLQ, if one was defined. If there is none defined, the message is discarded.

2) There are many protocols that MQ supports, so you should post the choices for answers that you have to choose the best one.
