Terminating calls Using a Modem

Does anybody knows a software that i can install so i can terminate calls using my modem. basically i want to take a call that comes to me via IP and "patch" that call to a distant phone via the modem.

You may want to look into Linux telephony. I believe that there are several Open Source IP Telephony solutions available for free or little cost.

You may also try some of the Call Diverters around. Don't know if any are out there that are IP enabled but it would be the place to check. Call Diverters normally require 2 lines but I would start in that arena first. Jerry Pannell
