I am looking for a way to 'End' all code execution for a single excel workbook only, regardless of excel version, without stoping execution of code from other workbooks / add-ins. The 'End' statement seems to stop execution of all code across all workbooks and add-ins. Any ideas?

If it's not broken, it doesn't have enough parts yet.

Could you describe situation more precisely? You mean a stack of procedures from different workbooks, event procedure when you open workbook, a code that does not respond due to long loop, other? Excel or com add-in?

Is each workbook started as a different excel process or from the same excel process? If each workbook is started from a different process (excel /x) then when you stop code execution, it will stop for all the workbooks running under that process. The ones running under a different process will continue.

Now THAT, xwb, is VERY interesting to me. I can't use that right now, but if things ever settle down enough, I'd like to dig into that very idea for some things here where I work.
