Hi

On one of our servers a scheduled scan (originated from the System Center on a primary NAV server) seems to hang and all schedules (new scans, virus definition updates) are no longer executed. Does anyone know the process name of such a scan so I can terminate it with Task Manager?

I don't see any "applications" in the equally named Task Manager pane but when logging off I always get the message "NAV Daily Scan is not responding..." so it must be running somewhere...

Thanks

It should be rtvscan.exe. You may need to end vptray.exe first and/or resort to a forced kill from the command line.
