Is there a way to turn on the terminal window before dialing. By this. I don't mean activating a new terminal with the "menuselect PWMENU 326" command. I want to go into the advance modem properties and activate the "Bring up terminal window before dialing" option. Then I'd like to disable it when the call ends. Any suggestions?

The functionality you describe is part of Windows itself and not Procomm (a good chunk of the modem settings that Procomm displays are actually Windows dialogs). I don't have a modem on my work machine to test this, but I think this setting mostly refers to the Internet dialer, and possibly Hyperterminal.

Thanks for the reply knob. This option can only be activated within Procomm by clicking Options>System Options>Modem Connection, and then clicking on Modem/Connection Properties...and then clicking the advance tab. I tried to do this using the control panel in Windows, but the options were totally different.

On my Win98 machine, the dialog displayed in Procomm looked to be identical to the one shown if I brought up my dialup ISP connection (Start | Programs | Accessories | Communications | Dial-Up Networking), right clicked and selected Properties, and then clicked the Configure button associated with the modem that the connection is set to dial with (haven't checked my Win2K machine yet). I would think it would have made more sense if Procomm displayed the same dialog as I see when I select the properties of my modem from within the Control Panel (same as the Dial-Up Networking dialog, minus the Options tabs that has the settings you are interested in), but don't know why it was designed that way.
